How we process personal data and which cookies this website uses.

1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is EMITECH Sp. z o.o., registered office in Bytom, ul. Leśna 18, 41-914 Bytom, Poland, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register (KRS) under number 0000355811 (District Court Katowice-Wschód in Katowice, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register), NIP 645-24-99-567, REGON 241473128.

2. What data we process and why
Contact by e-mail and phone
There are no forms on this website. If you write to us or call us, we process the data you provide (e.g. your name, e-mail address, phone number, company name and the content of your message) in order to reply, carry on the correspondence and prepare an offer.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where the conversation concerns entering into a contract, taking steps prior to entering into it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Retention period: for the duration of the correspondence and then until the limitation periods for claims or the archiving obligations under applicable law expire.
Server logs
Each time you visit the website, the server automatically records basic technical information: IP address, date and time, the address of the page visited and the browser type. We use it solely to ensure the operation and security of the website.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention period: in line with the server settings, no longer than necessary for security purposes.
Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
Only if you give your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to find out how many people visit the website and which pages they read. Google Analytics collects data about your device and browser, the pages visited and your approximate location (country, city). We do not combine this data with any other information about you.
- Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time in the “Cookie settings” in the website footer.
- Retention period: 14 months.
Google Maps
On the Contact page, the Google map is loaded only after you give your consent. Once it is displayed, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. The processing of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Our social media profiles
The website contains plain links to our LinkedIn and Facebook profiles, without embedded buttons or scripts from these services. When you visit our profiles, your data is also processed by LinkedIn and Meta in accordance with their privacy policies.
3. Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use advertising cookies. We only store in your browser what is described in the table below, and everything other than remembering your choice requires your consent.

You can change your choice at any time: open cookie settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
4. Who we share data with
Data may only be received by entities that help us run the website and our business: the hosting and e-mail provider, IT service providers and, if you give your consent, Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics, Google Maps). Google may transfer data to the United States on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it,
- rectify your data,
- erase your data or restrict its processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal).
To exercise these rights, write to biuro@emitech.com.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).
6. Additional information
Providing data is voluntary, but without it we will not be able to reply to your message. We do not make automated decisions and do not profile website users.
We may update this policy, e.g. when the services used on the website change. The current version is always available on this page.
